I’ve gone to this Y for years now and I love everything about it—the staff, the facility, location, etc. ONLY thing I would change would be for it to be open longer on weekends:)

I actually have nothing but positive things to say about the facility itself. That said, the hours are absolutely horrendous, 5pm close on Saturday, 1pm open on Sunday, hence the 3 stars.

Yes, you will have to pay for a guest pass which is ten dollars and sign a waiver.
Both are fully opened and funcional. I actually come from there right now. There are no restrictions either

There's 3 of them n one big one between both courts... sometimes I guess it depends during the time of day you can either do walleye reservation or towards the end of the day they usually be non busy
Yes, this facility has an indoor pool, where children are allowed. There is not a separate pool for children, however.
There are! They've blocked off stalls, so that no one can be at an adjacent shower stall. They're not doing towel service, so you have to bring your own.

Not that Im aware of..but being a vet myself..they are very cool with vets and make a big.deal of Veterans Day...more than my employer did and there are many vets and active duty that use that particular Y...

Yes - the Men's Health Center and the Women's Health Center at the Alexander Y both have steam rooms and saunas.

There's a large parking lot in front of the building, runoff parking if it's full, and parking across the street on Hillsborough as well

They have two free-weight areas, plenty of machines, racketball, indoor pool and track, steam and sauna. It's pretty much as full-featured as they come.
