I was referred here for a consult over 4 weeks ago. Calls are rarely returned and there is one excuse after another. Tondate no appointment has been scheduled. This Dr. Buchheit is supposedly a highly rated doctor who cares about his patients. Based on my experience neither this facility, their staff or the doctor care at all about their patients. Go somewhere else.

I am posting this review because my personal experience with this practice is very different from what most people have posted here. I would hate for anyone to avoid this practice and not get the help they need based on these reviews. Dr. Alonso is an awesome one-of-a-kind doctor! He will always take the time needed to have a thorough appointment with you. Most appointments I had were at least 1 hour if not more which is unheard of in this day and age. The exam was thorough and a complete medical history was taken in order to provide a holistic approach to treatment. There was a long wait for the initial appointment but once you are a patient you can usually get a follow up appointment sooner if someone else cancels. My personal experience was that the staff had pretty good communication overall and most of the time was very communicative/responsive helping me to make appointments and get last minute appointments if someone canceled. There was a high degree of transparency regarding costs and I never felt blindsided. One time there was an issue of a referral not being put in for PT but Dr. Alonso personally sought to rectify this and the referral was received. After seeing multiple other doctors and 10 years of unexplained pain on my right ear/jaw that disabled me from sleeping on my right side, I finally found a solution and can sleep pain-free on my right side. As with any doctor and treatment do your own research on the drugs prescribed. There were some treatments proposed that I was not interested in due to side effects. At the end of the day it is their job to give you the best treatment options but you must always play an active role in your own care and do what you think it best/what you feel comfortable with. In the end my condition was treatable without drugs using a mouth guard and PT which was an outcome I was very pleased with.

Excellent experiences all around with Dr. Vivaldi and the team. Caring, up to date, kind and client-aware practice.

This practice advertises they are "opioid-free." Before they examine you, they guarantee you won't benefit from opioids. That's not a medical opinion, that's a political decision that was made about your health by the CDC and the govt who is paying these providers to withhold opioids. Go find a Dr willing to treat you based on your individual health situation and not the bonus checks they're getting.

They use alternative pain relief methods including some mild meds. I get shots for tmd in my face and neck. The also use physical therapies and other pain relief methods. The have helped me a lot and made a huge difference in my quality of life. Definitely you should see what they can do for you.

Dr. Boortz-Marx is a good doc and very caring. I think he would tell if he was unable to help. Try it.
