Didn't stay at the hotel, just went to the park area it is small to go swimming at unless you have a boat and get out into the river

The place is gorgeous. Great View of the river and the bedding had questionable stains on them and the carpet was wet, but it probably could be from wet swimsuits

The patty melt I had was FANTASTIC. It also has a beautiful view of Pickwick lake and it's a restaurant that you would definitely want to eat at for dinner. The people who work there are extremely nice people. God has really blessed this place and he has let this place come a long way since it was established.

Our waitress was sweet and our food was good, even if my hamburger steak was cooked wrong. But... The wait was almost 2 hours between getting seated and receiving food! The lady working as a hostess well, bless it, not sure where they found her.

They may have Christmas lights, but no program. This is a State Park

All these reviews, and nobody comments on the horrendous smell from the papermill nearby? Smells like an outhouse in our room, and staff aknowledges the smell, but refuses to do anything about it. How hard is it to offer a candle, or air freshner?

Lol nothing ever been made to cover it up . The mill has 5 different smells given what ever they are processing . The one you talk about isnt often an also depends on direction of wind. Sorry your timing caused you to have bad time .

I'm not sure however, hotel pools are there for the paying guest but friends usually slip throughthe cracks.
