So I am going to have to agree with Dominic and disagree with @beautyphotos we went there for the first time this last Sunday and there was 15 minutes of worship and then they went on a 20 minute montage on how you should donate to them and give them money and if you don't basically implying you're not family or part of the church family or you are not a member if you didn't donate..... I understand churches need money to have activities but this made me very uncomfortable the amount of time they spent on it and the things that were said about it...We are going to give them the benefit of the doubt this time but if it happens this coming Sunday I will never attend this church again.... that being said the worship was great the message was great but when you're telling your congregation they are not worthy if you don't give it leaves an unsettling feeling in your stomach

There was 20 minutes of singing and 15 minutes of them saying donate to them. They made the service seem like it was about them not God.

Attend church here when I’m in Bakersfield to watch my daughter’s volleyball games at CSUB. The congregation is warm, friendly and inviting. The worship is great - contemporary. The preaching has been wonderful. Good mix of ages in attendance. 5 generations represented so everyone feels comfortable.

Merry Christmas Bakersfield is tonight, December 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with kids activities & snacks.
They do give dinners for many families in the community. If you, or someone you know, would like to be included, please contact the church. Many, many volunteers deliver the meals to the families the morning of Thanksgiving. Also, if you wish to volunteer to prepare or deliver meals, feel free to contact The Bridge. My family got such joy in preparing & delivering meals last year & plan to do it again this year.
