Past two times I’ve been there to get fresh fruit the produce turns bad and moldy within a day or 2. Never had a problem with the produce until now, I actually prefer to get my fruits and veggies from meijer. But not when it goes bad in what seems like a blink of an eye. Besides the produce I have no other problems!

Vintage As Funk

Not sure I'll be going back after this morning. I show the FlashFood app regularly & Plainwell is always my first store to look at. They do a great job of using Flashfoods. Today was not my usual experience. I had my toddler in tow at 7am to get our Flashfood items & some other general things from Meijer. There were several employees standing around near the Flashfood cooler. They watched me find my items put them in my own reusable bag & head to the exit. Not once offering to help or check off my items. I was out the door when an employee started yelling across the checkout lanes for me to STOP. I was then treated like a thief for not going to customer service. The woman was rude, talked over me& acted as though I was walking out with 1000's in groceries that I didn't pay for. I spent $60 this morning & not sure I'll be back.

I'm not sure why this Meijer isn't concerned about little ways to help the environment. This was the third and Final Time I'm going to this store. Twice in the last three times I have shopped here the same cashier, Kathleen, has rolled her eyes and told her bag-packer that the Customer Wants Paper Bags, with an anoying poor attitude that I am wasting Her Cashier Time. No problem, because I won't be back. I'm sure there are cashiers at the local Harding's that enjoy using paper bags, and don't begrudge a Customers request.
