The Kane County Courthouse is has tried and true as the cornfields that used to surround it for miles. How you feel depends extremely on the reason you're there, and how you deal with it and things in general. If your case goes well, and then your opinion will be favorable. If not, then most likely you will feel nothing but disdain for this place. Oh and there's a metal detector right when you go in so don't forget to travel lightly and take off everything including your belt.
Clyde Guilamo (Law Office of)
Attorney Clyde Guilamo has become a familiar face in this courthouse, helping people with their traffic and criminal cases. The many conference rooms, the cleanliness, and the proximity of the county jail make this courthouse one of my top favorites. The law library is beautiful. They offer free wifi. There is even a designated greeter, to provide people with information. "Case dismissed," "court supervision," and "no jail/ prison" are generally the 3 outcomes that people are looking for in their criminal cases. One tip: judges and prosecutors are people, so try not to get on their bad sides.

Very unprofessional on court room 101. I went to asked regarding an order of protection and the Hispanic lady was very rude and unfriendly. I was so overwhelmed dealing with the issues and we go there to get help and it’s worse. If people there DO NOT LIKE THEIR JOB FIND ANOTHER ONE. You are there to help us.

I agree with both earlier comments. Do you NEED a lawyer? Technically No. The law allows you to represent yourself. SHOULD you have a lawyer? Absolutely! In any case where your freedom is at risk, you should be represented by a lawyer.
There should be a phone number on the summons
Contact the county office by phone and ask them. If you don't show up for court, they can either rule against you or put a warrant out for you. Also, make sure the state knows you have a new address by getting your license or state id updated.
Depends. Sometimes parents come to an agreement about what is best for the child. Other times, court intervention is necessary. You should talk to a lawyer.
Some are in person, some are on zoom. You should follow whatever your last court order says.
The courthouse is open Monday through Friday except state and federal holidays.

The jury commission used to be on the 2nd floor of the old courthouse on 3rd Street in Geneva. I'd start there.
Too many variables. I would suggest speaking with an attorney 1st.
To the divorce judge that heard your case
You can get a copy of any order in a publicly available case by going to the circuit clerk's office. If the case is confidential (juvenile), you'll need a court order.
If you want a copy of a case transcript, they charge you per page/word. For large cases, it can cost you thousands of dollars.
In the baseball they give them
Yup, closed Tuesday tho
Generally speaking no. Only a large, unexpected snowfall would cause a shutdown.
Yes
From the Circuit Clerk's office.
