I lived in Mercy Home from 2019-2021. They helped me grow a lot and get over the struggles that I had been through. The staff and therapists are great, and the resources Mercy provides are a good starting point. I've found great success in high school, college, and my personal life because of them. There's also the community you get after you leave Mercy. Some of my closest friends are the roommates I had there. Each person is in there working on their own separate issues, but we also try to help each other out. Mercy is truly a one-of-a-kind organization. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. I highly recommend living here.

My son Alan was in this program and I just loved everything about how they helped him to become the better young man he is today. He graduated from highschool and they helped him get a couple of jobs through them. The staff, therapeutic treatment plans and goals were just awesome. The facilities were very well maintained and always smelled good. Not only did they help him they also helped me as well to be able to handle his struggles better. They deserve over five stars in my opinion. I tell everyone this is the best program out here for struggling teenagers and families that are serious about getting the proper help needed when everyone works together to achieve the best results. I truly miss everyone there.

About 75% of funds are spent on program services.
The President is a Catholic priest and it is guided by the values of the catholic church. I dont know the financial ties that it might have to the archdiocese but i think it is leagally a separate entity with the blessing of the church. The Cardinal has said mass there. With all of that said, the children are not made to practice Catholicism. They are encouraged to practice or not practice whatever religion they choose.
About 75% of funds go directly to program services!

Yes, from 8:00-9:00 am with Cardinal Cupich as the officiant.
Mercy Home for Boys and Girls is a wonderful place for any child to stay there.
That iI don't know for sure but they like you to be on constant contact with the kid and have family therapy on a weekly basis , weekwnd you pick up child and return on sundays
They have different age ranges, so he would be eligible to live here. I believe for the younger kids school is mandatory and a condition to living here.
