I needed shelter in the early fall when the nights started getting cold. It took 24 hours to hear from anyone just to get the ball rolling. I was then promised a callback but never received one. I wasted two overnights in the ER waiting for the Salvation Army to help, at the end my ticket was closed and I still had nowhere to go. Stealing time & energy from the homeless while refusing to help is evil, where I come from.

I scheduled a pick up with these people because I was moving. They never showed up. They called me nearly a month later and I missed the call. I called back and the women was so rude she hung up on me when I explained the situation.

I would say being it to the commissioner at headquarters to let them k ow what's going on. Have a private meeting.

They won't have any during this month until January, I believe. But they usually do it in Tuesday and Thursday. You can always call them to double check. They also do emergency pantry, which is done for an individual, they would set up a pick up time.
