I have suffered from severe PTSD and Anxiety for more than 15 years. My job changed so, my insurance changed. My previous doctor was no longer covered. I was refereed to Perma by my new insurance. I had been prescribed anti anxiety medications for the last 15 years (from the SAME doctor). On my first visit with Dr.Wills he tells me that he doesn’t prescribe that medication and he is going to wean me off. He does and prescribed me a slew of new medications. 6 to be exact. Everything from blood pressure meds to multiple anti depressants to be taken together. I agreed to make the changes because he’s a doctor, right? I’d like to see his credentials. What happens next is a year or my life gripped in panic attacks and severe depression. I lose my job, I withdraw from my friends and family, and my life is virtually destroyed. Each visit I plead with him to help me with my anxiety to which he responds “you should try yoga and read this book that I just read”. I foolishly return to him for over a year each month, During my visits he is constantly typing on a laptop looking out the window and acting like I am annoying him when I ask him questions about the medications he prescribes. Finally I had enough. I made an appointment with a new provider, And not only did she tell me that the medications he was prescribing me were dangerous , it was not for someone with anxiety but someone who was psychotic. The anti-depressant he gave me had caused me to gain 60 pounds in that year. My new provider said no one should ever be on that high of a dose and it’s not a antidepressant that assists with anxiety management. I was furious. She put me back on the same medications that my previous doctor I had seen for 15 years prescribed and the change was instantaneous. It’s now been six months and it’s been amazing. I feel like I have my life back my anxiety is under control, I’m doing well at my job, running every day. I’m no longer a hermit withdrawn from society. Dr Wills is not only a quack, but he doesn’t seem to care about his patients from a medical perspective. Telling me to breathe and read a book is not going to help with clinically diagnosed depression and anxiety. He watched me suffer for that whole year and did nothing to help me. It’s disgusting. He sure was happy to collect my co-pays and bill my insurance as often as he could. I would never recommend seeing him. In fact I would say run the other way, there are plenty of healthcare providers who will actually take the time to listen to you, unpack your history, and make the right choices for you as far as medications. He is the worst medical professional, and I use the word professional loosely as he cursed regularly in our sessions, I haves ever encountered. I’m not the only one he “treated” in this matter. Please see the other reviews and judge for yourself. Stay away from Perma Mental Health

Terribly unprofessional, ethically challenged.

Dr Wills is the most unprofessional, inappropriate, self deluded hack out there.

We have not been a fan of this place since we first started. Problem one - they don't answer the phone and everything must be done via email. If you do leave a message call backs are hit or miss and take a long time. Next Dr Wills canceled on us twice in a short period of time. I am sure as medical professionals they realize we take time off of work and pull kids out of school for appointments. Finally Dr Wills has a terse demeanor and should not be working with children. He is not a kind or empathic person during appointments.
