Recently had an interaction with the police department where I need them to come to my house and take care of a mentally unstable guest. I am weary of the police because of the bad apples out there. Just wanted to give a shout out to Officer R. Overton and the two offers that accompanied him. They were calm, respectful, and most importantly caring. They did a great job handling the situation. Police officers are there to protect and serve. They are there to deescalate whenever possible. That's exactly what these officers did. Kudos to them! 🙂
