Great place. It was windy in the afternoon. They give you a key card to let you in and out of the front gate. All rv spots have 30amp power and water (about 45psi)

We stayed just a short stay this week, and were up on the west side of the campground at plot 92, & it really was an incredible stay! The gal at check in, (I really hope I remember her name correctly) Bonnie(?) Was super friendly, and answered all of our questions, and even gave a fair warning that a bear and her cub frequented our spot from time to time; But that's to be expected after all the fires in California! The campsite is really right on the water, and that is the main reason I have found a new favorite camping area; I really don't have a complaint to give.. We got shouted at by someone a couple spots over but that was because we were the loud drunks.. well I was the loud drunk lol. The bear never showed, but we, and our neighbors all had our scraps cleaned up before bed time so nothing to attract them! I think next time I'll try the East side because it was a lot more open, and I can go be drunk in the quiet. Lol. Definitely recommend this camp ground! It was a Really Nice Time!

This campground was one of the most beautiful we've been to. The views are amazing, the facilities are awesome, and the staff by far is the best I've come across. Bailey at the office (store) was just the sweetest, most friendly girl ever. We went into the store every day and she was always so nice. On the second day, my son cut his finger open pretty badly. We mentioned it to her and she immediately helped us get it covered and dressed with her emergency first aid kit. Honestly we don't know what we would've done without her. We plan to stay there every year, maybe a few times a year.

Nice place to camp but needs new management. They will not let your family members stay unless you are there.

Hi Judy! We do not have full hookup sites here but we do have water and electric on every RV site with a free dump-station on the grounds as well as the option for a honey truck to come pump out your tanks at an extra charge. For a waterfront RV site the rate is 59 a night and for a non water front the rate is 49 a night.
The WiFi is only a hot spot up at the store and library area.
I found 12 minutes for $3 to be more than enough time for me and clean up my 2 year old son, with time to spare. And in the words of my wife after returning from there at 12:15 in the afternoon, "those are some of the cleanest public bathrooms (showers) I have been in!"
Our library is free to enjoy yourself in. We have guests that take books and put books in there.
I'm looking for 3257 Colechster rd near Virginia Beach Virginia
I believe you can just camp, some of the sites are pretty cramped with little to no shade. Also, only 1 restroom and shower. Not a great tent camping location. Maybe see if you can get a different site or a cabin? I know contacting them can be tough, they rarely answer the phones.
At this time we are currently discussing it for the season beginning 2021. Check back with us closer to mid-September and we will have everything buttoned up by then.
Yes you can but you have to book a campsite
Depends which campsite you get, but they're all walking distance
Yes you can swim. I don't think they are renting right now. They weren't last week when I was there. You can bring your own if you have them
Please visit the website at northshorecampground.com
You would have to contact Knotty Pines Marina or Majors Outpost to rent a pontoon boat.
I am not sure we rented a cabin shower was in the cabin
Yes, extra vehicle fee and you may need to upgrade to an rv site...nice campground tho, i'm sure they would answer these questions for you if you called
You pay to get a hookup for water and electricity
Hi Sarah Our campground is open My 1st to Nov 1st depending on the snow. Pedal boats are allowed. You are allowed to use propane and charcoal. We have fire pits at every site for campfires. You can fish any of our shoreline that is not some ones camp. You can also fish from the rocks on the cossway going into chester.
Closure dates are anticipated only and are based on the weather.
