Moaning Caverns Adventure Park was amazing me and my three girls went down in the caves down the stairs. And it was awesome it was a little scary on the way down but once you get down there it was worth it. And on the way back up there was even more scary but extremely fun if you’re an adventure this is the place to come and there’s a spot where you can do panning for gold for your kids. Great place for family activity

Hidden gem if you are interested in caverns. Take plenty of water if you are visiting in summer. Plenty of parking and it's FREE. well Maintained picnic tables if you plan to hangout for sometime. They also have axe throwing activity. Caverns had a lot of history and your guides are knowledgeable. It goes. Pretty deep and a very narrow 60 feet down spiral staircase. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is afraid of heights or older with knee issues. Otherwise a fun place to visit. You can buy tickets at the gift shop and the cavern visit is timed.

Wasn’t expecting much, but it was a good little adventure. Is it the Grand Canyon? No, but worth it. Not going to spoil the tour, but it’s not for everyone. If you are unfit, scared of small places, scared of heights, scared of the dark you may want to think this over. There is a stopping point where you can turn back. They also have an area where you can sift sand and find gemstones, fossils etc. It’s not free. You’ll buy a bag of sand with hidden treasure inside ranging from $7.99 to $39.99 (motherload). It’s a way to kill some time before or after the tour. Kids love this as they feel they are finding their own souvenirs.

Just call them and find out
Nancy you might want to check out the natural bridges trail which is near moaning caverns. There is a cave at the pit stop but it has water on the floor so people usually bring something to put on their feet and it can be very popular so i like to go early for parking. Check it out online. I love walking the creek that comes out of the cave very pretty.
If your asking about the zip line I don't think there is an age limit, just a weight limit if at least 70 pounds. And if your child doesn't weigh that much they ad weights to make sure smaller kids have enough momentum. There is defiantly no riding together on the zip lines unless going tandem. (Side by side ). They van accompany you during the cave tour though. Hope this helps.
I dont believe in the caves as there are areas that are blocked off that animals might wondering into.
Reservations generally required, the website is up to date. I think adults are $22ea.
Yes, you can, but as previously mentioned the very beginning is very narrow
There are stairs down into the cavern that are fine for children under 12; For children under 6 I would be more hesitant
The Spiral tour is 20$ per person with a coupon for free rock climbing wall. It was a great tour! Friendly staff. Check out their website for more tours and prices! To just visit and walk around there is no charge.
Aww..NO way. Unfortunately it's a very narrow opening to access the cave with 235 steps. That challenges even healthy persons.
You can buy bags of sand with fossils, rocks, ores, etc at the gift shop and use their little water system to sift out the sand. The kids really enjoy it. More for kids than adults.
Nope
No
True. Went on July 11 for my mother's 73. Said closed since 2019.
You can purchase your tickets online but that's as far as an online store goes that I saw on their website.
$20 per adult
For the carvern itself it's a lot of stairs. Narrow stairs and spiral stairs. Just need to be able to walk back up after you descend 165ft!
Thank you everyone for helping in answering Evelyn’s question! You are correct, no dogs are allowed in the cave but on the grounds outside your furry friends are welcome!
It's a guided tour with fee. If you walk the grounds and visit the gift shop, all of that is free
