Very cool and unique place! It's a bit out of repair, but still a one-of-a-kind type place that's fun for the whole family. See if you have the guts to ride all the way up to the top of the Curve!

The Velodrome is a wonderful part of the neighborhood. I hope the property owners continue to keep it.

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between velendrom and Nascar? I would really like to know.

The Velodrome is for bikes. If you have ever heard of an autodrome, it has steep curved sides and cars and motorcycles can go drive on it. A velodrome is used for track racing bikes. They are fixed gear, have no brakes, and can go very, very fast, reaching speeds of sometimes over 60mph. Velo, is 'bike' in Italian. So, therefore, Velodrome.
