This rating is for IPM Medical Group in Los Altos, CA. Specifically, Dr. John Welch. He is a very caring, communicative, proactive, thoughtful doctor. He never rushes me during an appointment, listening to everything I have to say. With some doctors, you have to ask questions to get information, whereas others like Dr. Welsh will volunteer everything there is to know on a topic. I have been seeing him since 2005 and will continue to do so. I recommend him to anyone who asks, and to anyone who is reading this.

I was referred to IPM for my back pain. My first appointment went really well, almost no wait time. The staff is courteous and helpful. Dr Ortiz was able to suggest treatment plan in steps to help diagnose the source of my back pain. The diagnosis procedure was scheduled for me very soon. Overall, I am impressed by their professionalism and service and would recommend IPM to anyone seeking medical advice for spine related issues

After seeing Neuro physicians at PAMF and Physiatrists at Stanford I was still in pain having difficulty getting more than 1-2 hours sleep a night. Dr Welsh listened intently and prescribed exactly what I needed to get me through my worst pain periods. We are now working to eliminate my medications while balancing Physical Therapy and sports focused massage sessions. Highly recommend Dr Welsh.
