If you are looking for a little, unique hole in the wall full of fantastic things, this is the place! It's not expensive! The guided tour was only $23, and well worth it! There are actual drawing on the wall from prisoners that were there! The spot where a man was hung is still there! Don't be fooled because it looks small from the outside... It's not! It's huge inside! Every single room, every piece of furniture took me back to the past on things that my mother and grandmothers had in their homes. Everything was remarkable! It was so well preserved and our guide Ms. Rhea (I hope I spelled it right, or I'm somewhere close to it), was awesome! You get to actually see where the prisoners were housed! If you want a field trip to take your children, students, or just because you love history, this is definitely a place to come! We will be back just to look around again, and for the new exhibit coming in March! Don't miss out on history that is so close to home!!!
