The servers are always attentive, pleasant & treat you like you’re their best friend. Food is always hot, fresh & of course amazing. Best thin cut catfish around. The cleanliness of the establishment is A+. Every experience we’ve had here has been satisfying.

Don't bother! I believe our server forgot about our food. She asked what we wanted for desert before we even got our food. When she came back with our food it was cold. This is definitely not the same restaurant I used to go to when I was younger.

Been here a number of times. Always been great. Today wasn’t that moment. Fish was a lil too salty and gumbo was different. I’ll still give them a go

There used to be a place right close to Middendorf’s where We used to fish for crab (by strings or small crab nets). I noticed y’all now have a deck area for guests. Is recreational crabbing allowed? We will be coming to eat first and foremost..

If going specifically for Oysters on half she'll from a distance I would call first. Check for availability and season. Also Cafe American in Juban Crossing has them

I know that this question was asked quite a while ago, but I wanted to answer in case anyone else was looking for the answer. Dogs are allowed on the outside deck. We often bring our dog boating with us when the weather is nice, and we almost always stop here for lunch. Dogs are obviously not allowed inside the restaurant.
