Stopped here for the night while traveling through. The entire campground was well maintained. We opted for the lakeside site with 30 amp hookup and it was only $24/night. Very clean restroom/ shower house. A great playground. Spots had fire ring/picnic table. Level spots. Nicely kept grounds and walking/bike trails. Plenty of trees along the waters edge perfect for hammocks. It was very quiet and we felt safe the entire time. Would definitely recommend.

The Lake Shawnee Campground is available year-round, including during the Huff n' Puff Balloon Rally which is now at the cemetery at Fairlawn and Huntoon.
Hi Zachary - We just have a standard 50amp receptacle. When I google it, the style we have for our campground are the ones that pop up. We camped (in Tents) There mother's day weekend . had a awesome stay . Alot of storms that weekend . My 1 complaint is that there should have been some warning from park staff about the storms comming
The restrooms and laundry are concrete block structures. There is not a formal storm shelter. Campers are advised to follow weather reports and use their best judgement during severe weather.
Camp ground around Lake drive on 29 and turn Right on Croco Road you would see campground sign turn right there you will see it

As long as you are a registered guest at the camp grounds they have showers.

At this time there isn't anyone there to check you in, there is a metal box near the gatehouse with envelopes fo fill out and leave payment. Limited space available due to winter light display that is in process of being taken down. There is electricity but water has been turned off for the season. Dump station across from gate house. There is a K OA in the area not too far off interstate. Hope this helps. Safe travels.

The beach was closed due to bacteria when we visited last spring.
