Do anybody in this trucking company teach drivers how park Correctly semi on white lines printed on the ground .Driver truck # 19422 .with trl#105716 Today at OH service plaza park his truck 45 degrees angle to white line and half way on road blocking semis driving through the service plaza. Shame to trucking company hire this kind of driver's. Safety department should send this driver to retraining how to use correctly parking spots. If hi drive like hi park warning for other drivers because hi is very dangerous driver!!!!

TransAm is not a bad place to work. I have been here for almost a year now. I started out on the otr account. It didn't pay very well. Now I am on the coyote account making great money. Trans am gave me an opportunity right out of school and I have a criminal record. If you come into this company with a positive attitude and you are willing to do the work they will take care of you. All my DMs call me by my first name and treat me very well. Overall, I have enjoyed my time here at trans am. It's a great place to gain some experience. I love my job here.

Great company to work for

Been there about 4 months. My problem is night don't know what day is doing
I used to work at trans am and i currently thinking about returning my biggest complaint in the past is the misimformatio from dispatch and how they never answer or respond to the driver on a timelu manner
I like the fact that they didn't have trainers. I learned better for my own mistakes and being able to correct them. Pay is not great, but the people are good and fair. This is what I'd call a starter company for new CDL holders and second chances for people who've had felonies in the past. If you're reliable and work hard and on time you will get your miles
Worked on a few at this location they all seemed really nice, fresh and so clean,clean..
Yes but the driver must pay to have you on the insurance plan. This go for company driver, owner operator & leasing through Transam.
U can count on it,they got pictures
Trans am takes advantage of new drivers. They do not follow through with what they tell the new drivers. So this doesn't surprise me.
Its a $2000 deposit to take peta with you.
Trans am.com or you can send a form message if your a contractor
Yes as a lease driver last I knew
Load should have been secured. If it caused your rid to flip either going way to fast or trailer was way heavy on left side. But most people don't make a 90° turn doing 30 mph. Its not a car. Should have been between 5-10 mph
Yes you can lease with TransAm
They treat even thier office workers as disposable commodities.
When I was driver for Transam I would normally take pictures of the trailer & send it to C.J. (disbatcher). If the trailer happen to have a major issue that is damage you do not have to haul it. For example Transam sent me to Michigan to drop a load & pick up an empty trailer to take to Thermal King. One of the fuel tank straps were missing & the tank was full of fuel. They wanted me to couple onto the trailer & I told them no because the fuel tank would have dropped onto the road while I was driving.
Did he kick u off the truck?
No its not. But drivers come and go weekly. Never hitch hike.
Yes
Do about 5 to 6 months and transfer to another job that will pay you more & give you flexible home time.
About 2800 miles you gotta keep at your dispatch or you don't get many loads. My husband is leaving them but i suggest you don't get into lease program. The lease program sucks.
No no payment is need they will give u one week free truck payments are 790 and yhat payment not even all of it 2200 is wat u need to run to pay everything well um i had a 2019 truck brand new i ran for them for mouths and with all the insurances to be real im at a job where im making way more then trans am leasers and i do way less work boss up
Hi for there orientation what hotel do you stay at, do you share room ? 🐸
They give you a urine test
No it doesn't matter I dropped my trailer for a little while to bobtail to the hospital because my mother fell hurt her back it was empty and in a secure spot they was going to have it towed
Call safety
They told my husband that he couldn't leave the truck nowhere unless it was in a secure lot.
I'm gonna go ahead and tell ya they aren't a good company to drive for being a company driver or lease...there has been a lot of lease drivers that has left, but they do from the Colorado Rockies to the east coast, company drivers get 32 cents a mile..i wanna say owner ops get that plus what the fuel percentage is....home time they only allow 4 days a month....they have 2 terminals....Rockwall TX and Olathe KS...with KS being the home terminal
Sleep/Laundry/Shower but atleaset 8 hr of sleep
They have an initial drug test prior to starting, then random drug tests subject at anytime.
use common sense, its a camera in someone else control, they can c what they wanna c
Run from that place.they pay their lease operators only 84 cents a mile.freight rates are up and they are making a killing while you go broke
Yes but don't go with this company. You will regret it. 9 I ooo
