The police/sheriff must first post a notice on the vehicle. If there is no response (the vehicle is not moved) then law enforcement will contact a tow company and have it removed. However if the vehicle is not blocking traffic, in a no parking zone or is blocking access to a property it is a very low priority. Hoeever I encourage you to contact your local law enforcement agency with a plate number or VIN so they can determine if it is stolen.
