Best customer service. I cannot rave about this place enough- I am so glad KC has a place to grab gear and camera equipment. Everyone in here is so kind and knows what they're talking about. Sito is amazing and helped me out a ton. Remembered my name after one purchase and answered all my questions. 10/10.

Come in. Shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I've been a customer for years the service and knowledge of the crew can't be matched.

Are you a photographer? Then you already know about this shop. If you want to go beyond what your cellphone will do for you and don't want to be misled by a clerk at an electronics store, then you need to go here and talk to any one of the great folks behind the counter.

If your main concern is getting the most money for your camera, I recommend selling it on eBay. Otherwise, just take it into the store. They are not going to qoute without seeing it in person.
Very true, but no Rick doesn't work here. He worked with us at our previous employer, C & J Photo. We worked there, and opened our store after C & J closed in 2002. Bart
No we don't, but check with Electronic Services at 9150 W. 135th St. and their phone number is 913-402-1200
In new 35mm film cameras we carry the Ilford Sprite II camera. We also get used film cameras in point-and-shoot kind, and interchangeable lens models. Currently we only have the new Ilford Sprite II, but check periodically for used cameras.
No we don't have that service, but I believe Process One at 95th and Metcalf can do that for you.
"Process One" at 95th and Metcalf, or "Express Photo" in Brookside.
Doesn't look like it based on their website. Only camera film. But call them and verify, I have no affiliation with the store.
Masks are required. Sanitizer is available. Social distancing is enforced.
The ERR70 means there is some kind of communication problem. If doing the things Canon recommends doesn't help then it may need repair. There isn't a place that does repairs on digital cameras in Kansas City. The closest is Phototronic in Topeka. Otherwise it would be sending it in directly to Canon.
We don't do any cleaning or service. I would contact Phototronic in Topeka. http://www.phototronictopeka.com/
Douglas, I don't know of anyone. We have a number on hand, and we don't get the call for them we used to, so I don't need any more.
They do buy used equipment - just take your stuff with all the accessories, give them a day or two to check everything out, and then they'll give you a call with an offer. 😊
There are multiple ways to transfer. Please call us at 913-648-5950 and we will try to help you figure out the best way for you.
I'm sorry, no we don't.
If you also emailed, I have answered that question. I have the Tamron 16-300 vc in Nikon mount today.
Probably, We would need you to leave it with us for a day or two. We will need to check it out and see what value we may offer for it.
Veda, No we don't do any printing from film or digital. There is a place down the street from us at 95th and Metcalf called Process One that does. Thanks for checking, Bart. https://processonephoto.com/
We do not have calibration equipment here. Call us at 913-648-5950 and I can refer you to the correct people. Thank you.
Disregard, I saw another answer below. I should have looked first. Google shows you renting equipment. Thanks.
No we don't rent any equipment, but there is a local place that does called rentglass.com. They rent Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras and lenses. https://www.rentglass.com/
Yes many times we do buy cameras, lenses, flashes, etc. Just bring your equipment by the store, or give us a call to tell us what you have, and we can tell you if we'd have an interest.
Kate, yes we carry a variety of shutter releases. From manual plunger style for old film cameras to the newer electronic wired and wireless options. It all depends on what camera you have to know what choices are available for your camera. Just come in, or give us a call at 913-648-5950 Thanks, Bart
We don't do any in-house repairs, but we could send it in to Interfit for repair.
Hi, We do not do repairs. We can recommend where to send it. I would call NikonUSA at 1-800-nikonus. Their repair website is https://www.nikonusa.com/en/service-and-support/service-and-repair.page
We don't really deal in antique cameras. Mostly cameras from the late 70's or newer. Call us with your camera brand and model, and we can tell you if we might be interested. All our used cameras are bought outright, we don't do any consignment. Bart
Call them.
They can refer you to the best place to get that done. That's a pretty complicated repair.
No, but they will refer you to someone who does
