I had not been to Denny's in a long time and she had never been there before. We drove about 30 minutes out of our way but they did not disappoint. We got the largest omelet we could find and then a side of the Maple Cinnamon bran pancakes (got to keep it healthy). It was a fun experience with a lot of memories. It looks like they updated this store to be a little more modern but they're still keeping the "America's diner" look. The place is visible off the highway, but it's not immediately intuitive how to get there. Google maps leads you right to it, but I probably would have gotten confused if I was just trying to eyeball it while driving. Not a huge issue, just something to be mindful of.

Only go here if your boss gives you 2 hours for lunch or you are in no rush. I had 45 minutes from when I arrived. The picture is what I left with because it took so long I barely was able to eat anything. I requested our bill immediately and the server provided it. But at checkout I waited what felt like 5 minutes but was probably only a couple. One worker in sight she was busy so I tried to have patience. I walked over to the kitchen with every intention of yelling for help when the lady came over clearly agitated. She said "I was busy over there!" And this is not a customer service attitude. I would fire her for her tone and also let me add there were 3 people waiting to be sat. We clearly interrupted her day. I would recommend you never go here unless you want cold food and a shi##y coupon because your food is cold. My last visit wasn't much better. If you are forced to go here, order something already cold but expect bad service.

To be seen for our beverage took a while. Which I understand sometimes staffing could be a issue…. Next we waited a extra 10 to 13 minutes for straws, then my grandson’s food came last without the eggs which he love the most. Everyone that ordered pancakes at our table…. Had to send them back cause they wasn’t even warm at least. So the server says she’s having the cook make fresh pancakes, and the rest of our breakfast is getting cold. Now I asked for crispy bacon and she brings non crisp bacon. She takes it and bring dark bacon back. In all the service was terrible as well as the food. I’m not one to complain, only when necessary.
