I've been going out to Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens since 2005 when my sister passed away, I always thought how peaceful and beautiful it was, I since have buried 2 husband's, my dad and my brother in law. Now this week it's going to be my niece. I don't know what's going on with the people that is supposed to return calls. Make arrangements. I've had issues with things needing repairs, no call backs... even left a physical note at the office... still NOTHING, why can't I at least get a call back? I get that repairs sometimes take a little while, but a phone call to at least respond would be nice. And now we've called for 2 days to schedule an appt. To plan the burial of my niece but no one calls back! Feeling really frustrated, my family has spent alot of money at this cemetery!!

Scenic non-urban location away from city bustle, providing a pleasant setting to quietly visit and remember. Grounds are well maintained.

The way they maintain the markers is disgraceful. Many have sunk so low the ground is covering part. They don’t care unless someone brings it to their attention. Even after that happens nothing is done. All they care about is getting the thousands of dollars for a 4x8 piece of ground and that’s where their concern ends.
