The food was fine. Nothing special. The issue was the service. For whatever reason they had a young girl who seemed lost as the hostess. Then instead of yelling out peoples names she kept speaking in soft whispers. We were sitting right in front of her and almost missed our name. The family besides unfortunately was not so lucky.

Food is very good whether you enjoy a simple country-style breakfast (like I do) or something a little more sophisticated. Nice dining sections in a spacious dining room that's not cavernous. Wait staff were courteous & efficient. I was seated, my order taken & my breakfast was served within a 15 minute span. A relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy either a solo, intimate, family or business breakfast. The restaurant's decor is simple & understated brick with large windows on 2 sides (exterior & interior McAlister Square) with nice booths, central tables & counter dining. A clean & well organized dining area all together. I had their classic breakfast (3 bacon strips, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with a generous bowl of grits & coffee) for about $11(which is reasonable). The restaurant is situated on the Pleasantburg Dr side at the center mall entrance to McAlister/University Square where there is plenty of parking & easy access to/from Pleasantburg Dr, Antrim Blvd & Laurens Rd. 😁😎

Had a pretty good experience here. Their philly cheesesteak eggs Benedict was so good. Service was good. Food came out quickly. Only bad thing is my husband asked for bacon to be added to his Greek omelet. That did not happen We had to ask the waitress to remove the extra charge. Other than that everything was fine.

This was our first time eating there and the food was delicious! We're definitely going back! Can't wait til my son is home from school and I can take him there. I think he'll love the pancakes!
