Relaxing view of Mt Shasta from I-5, but a more majestic view is from just northeast of town, headed toward Klamath Falls.

Easy to access from I-5 northbound. The views are not that great, mostly because it is almost completely covered by trees. Still, a nice place to make a stop and enjoy the views, stretch your legs and have a rest. There are some informative panels too and several parking spots. Worth a stop but do not expect an outstanding view mind you.
