Hi Winston! While we do not have a notification for pavers, you can check our Facebook and Instagram media pages to keep up with latest sales!
Manufactured stone veneer is made of concrete and replicates natural stone textures and colors. It is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive, (most commonly polymer resin, with some newer versions using cement mix).
One of the many benefits of manufactured stone is that it’s a manufactured product allowing for a wide range of colors and textures based on current design trends.
There are a number of types of pavers you can choose for your driveway design. Permeable pavers, natural stone, paving stones, cobblestone, clay pavers, brick driveway pavers, concrete pavers, or interlocking pavers can all be used in your driveway. You can talk with one of our hardscape professionals to create a driveway that is the color and material you love.
There are a number of benefits to using driveway pavers instead of asphalt driveways. Driveway pavers in your landscape design are more durable than asphalt driveways, and they are easier to repair. You will create a unique outdoor space when you invest in driveway pavers, improving the curb appeal of your home. With the durability of driveway pavers, there is a high return on your investment. You aren’t going to have to replace your driveway anytime soon when you invest in a permeable paver driveway installed by professionals.
Solid clay pavers are hard-fired in computer-controlled kilns at high temperatures to fuse the clay particles together to create maximum strength. This hard-firing creates rich, natural colors that are impervious to ultraviolet radiation, which often causes artificially colored concrete pavers to fade.
A herringbone pattern, This pattern is the strongest of the block paving bonds as it offers the most interlock, therefore making it a good choice for driveways and road surfacing. It can be created by setting the blocks at either 45 degrees or 90 degrees to the perpendicular.
Brick clips, also known as pinch clips, clamp onto the edge of the brick itself and come with a hook attached. They will sit on the top and bottom of the brick in the narrow space where it sticks out past the mortar, and when you squeeze the clamps, the anchor will attach to the brick. These are perfect for holding lighter objects since they are not fastened securely into the wall.
Whitewashing is a technique in which a mixture of hydrated lime, salt, and water is used to mute the brick’s natural color with a finish that can range from translucent to a bright white depending on the concentration of the solution. Whitewash preserves the natural texture of the brick while bonding tenaciously to any masonry or coarse wood surface.
Concrete blocks are made from cast concrete (e.g. Portland cement and aggregate, usually sand and fine gravel, for high-density blocks). Lower density blocks may use industrial wastes, such as fly ash or bottom ash, as an aggregate.
A concrete masonry unit (CMU) is a standard size rectangular block used in building construction.
Brick pavers see a lot of traffic and sunshine over their lifetime and as a result, they can become faded after long periods of use. Clean the pavers: If there are no obvious signs of algae or mold, a simple power wash will do.
Unless you want to destroy the outer layer of your bricks, it’s best to avoid sandblasting. If you hate the paint so much you have to remove it, a gentler method is highly advised. It may cost more and take more time to do it right, but you’ll be glad you did when all is said and done. Sandblasting is a tricky thing when it comes to bricks, as it’s nearly impossible not to use excessive pressure. This pressure will cause cracks and expose the inner, sensitive layer of brick. This allows all kinds of weather and other exposures to seep in and do damage.
Bricks can consist of varying amounts of different ingredients, which is why bricks come in varying shades of the same reddish color. In general, bricks contain kneaded clay-bearing soil, sand and lime. Bricks may also contain concrete material, or expanded clay aggregate.
Interlocking paving stones can be made from a wide variety of materials. However, they usually take one of three forms: Concrete, Natural stone, Brick (clay ).
Clean the pavers: If there are no obvious signs of algae or mold, a simple power wash will do. If there is mold or algae, we stock a more powerful cleaning solution called One Restore available at borth our showroom locations.
A hardscape is any non-living element of your yard. Many people design their yards with visions of lush greens, vibrant flowers, and beautifully-manicured grass. But you may feel like something is missing without concrete or stone features to accent your living plants. Batchelder & Collins can provide the hardscapes you need to impress neighbors and passersby.

Yes. Contact us immediately if your chimney is broken. No matter what happened or where it’s broken, it’s extremely unsafe to use. We can even fix your chimney crown. The chimney crown is the top, flat part of the chimney covered with cement. It’s sloped usually to shed water, while protecting and holding together the chimney top.
Manufactured stone veneer is cast from molds of real stone which makes it lighter than natural stone. Natural stone may require wall ties and footings, which, in turn, can increase installation difficulty.
