Nice hike, pretty easy. A little slippery and muddy when we went (snowed a little), but beautiful. We took in the rocks, trees and of course crossing over the water to the falls at the bottom.

Great little water falls hidden in Allegheny National Forest. About a mile walk from the parking area but fairly easy to get to. Recommend going during wet season to see the most water coming over the falls.

Easy hiking trail, about one mile to the falls. While the falls aren't spectacular in the dry season, the surrounding geological features are amazing. Plenty of rocks/logs to sit on and eat a picnic lunch. Follow the trail down to the right of the falls to see the large boulders. Be sure to pack out all trash as this area is pristine. Enjoy!

There is no winter maintenance on the road. I'd suggest a nice spring day or in the summer after a night of rain

Where is Hector Falls? We used the directions shown here and we ended up in what they call a parking lot(according to the GPS Anyhow) So we started walking down this closed road. Any one have better directions or coordinates to this place?
