My daughter had never visited a comic book store and asked me to take her. At first glance this shop looked like the comic book stores of my youth but there are huge differences. Prices are definitely higher than the comics i bought, much higher. The there is the content; The comics of my youth represented the wholesome values of the era whereas today's comics represent the values of outspoken but confused and twisted minority. It seems the heroes of the past have been replaced with anti heroes intent on shaping the world as they believe it should be. Sad but inevitable.
