We do our best to shop and eat local. For the second time in our last 3 visits we were turned away at the door because of the inability to prepare food due to staffing in the kitchen. This establishment was the place to go for many years with a full parking lot most nights. It is a great location on the lake with a great outdoor dining area but in need of a major interior overhaul, putting the bar facing the lake like it used too. Poor interior atmosphere, mediocre food and the inability to staff the kitchen are disappointing. We won't be back.

At first didn't want to serve us, then finally decided to serve a 11 person table. Horrible service from someone who wouldn't let us order the drinks we wanted. Only one pitcher available in the whole restaurant so we could not order the beer we wanted. It was 35 dollars a pitcher of beer which is absolutely ridiculous. The calamari was horrible, not fresh and fried in dirty oil. The chicken wrap was average and didn't taste fresh. Overall it was okay. Finally once paying the bill we were told only 4 out of the eleven could pay the bill and that we had to sort it out afterwards. The waiter also insisted on us adding a tip even tho gratuity was already billed into our absurd total amount. We were told that if we used the stairs on the deck to enter after leaving a 300 dollar fine would be issued because of fire safety. The manager was breaking this rule constantly. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Super excited we found this gem. The lobster roll was my first and it was divine! I didn’t expect to like the clam chowder, but it was so good! The kids even enjoyed it! Apparently it’s made fresh daily and that attention and preparation really shows. The staff was great and you can’t beat the lake view.
