It is a great trail if you want some exercise. The grade is pretty steep on the way up. Looks like a good place to mountain bike.

All season though snow sometimes falls there.
There is overnight camping at the RV Village and that would be the closest to the trails. For overnight camping on LOLO pass there are a couple of overnight camping areas available. Cheaper but not as convenient. I believe reservations are definitely required at the RV Village. But it is much closer to the trails.
