Reflection Lake

Review is as of August 6th 2022 .We went to reflection lake around 2pm The view point has a easy access. No hike is needed. Easy for senior citizens too.. Just a couple of stairs to get down and about 20 steps to reach the view point. Once upon a time, there was a complete reflection of Mt.Rainier which was a woaww feeling.! We took our friends to show the beauty but they were not that excitedd ☹️.This time when we went there, may be due to the bad tyming or because of the grown grass, the reflection wasn't as expected.

A must see at Mt Rainer National Park when visiting Paradise and driving the loop around the mountain!! If possible catch a glimpse of Sunbeam waterfall a short distance from the lake close to the road!! The lake is beautiful even if it's surface is not perfectly calm!!!

I went on a clear sunny day, nice place to spend some time in Rainier with family, we went in the afternoon, due to wind couldn't see the reflection of Rainier in the lake but heard that in the morning or evening you can see the reflections clearly. Parking is limited and people will be parking in the adjacent side of the road.

One of the view points driving up mount rainier, worth ur time to stop, pause and get some pics. There is a small hike near by which will take to even more vantage point and I should be able to see the reflection of the mountain in the lake. Give a try if u have time !!
