They didn't have enough restrooms and hand wash stations. But a cool place for kid's for a few days...

Back in the seventies there was a park in the canyon owned by the oil company there. Really nice with picnic facilities and all. Is this the same park?

Yes, it has all that and it is on the oil company land enterance, but the Scout reservation has been there a lot longer than the seventies

What is the bathroom situation? Toilets with flush, pit toilet buildings, porta potties? And is there any drinking water source or water for cleaning dishes etc?

Campsite bathrooms are porta potties that are cleaned and restocked every Friday

Is not aware of any rooms for rent. It is a large camp ground. I have seen people bring motor homes & campers.

Is this open to the public for an RV campers 4 or 5 nights?
