Definitely a good store in a pinch but supplies are limited. Thankful to have it but wish it had a little bit more variety.

Don’t stop in here. Obviously read the reviews first. Or take this for what it is. The old lady with long white/blonde hair, at the register yesterday, told us that the coupon that was on the drinks we were purchasing, just didn’t work. Hmmm weird. No explanation either. Didn’t offer us a bag for our things, but offered the person behind us a bag. Weird.

With all the mixed reviews, I had to check it out myself. This place is expensive!!! About $1-3 per item more than Whole Foods, which I shop often and all over US. Even comparing to remote ski resort markets like in Aspen, this place is more expensive. Selection is limited on healthy and organic choices. When it’s there, you’ll find $8 oat milk. Ya, the price is ridiculous! So I drove 20 min to Sandy’s Safeway instead. The money you save for a week of grocery shopping will be a tank of gas plus more, accounting the gas to Sandy. If you want only a handful of items and are short on time, may be it’s worth it. Also the store name Hoodland “Thriftway” is so misleading, it’s more like Hooldand Robaway. 😂

If you like having the sliding entrance door rudely closed in your face with no explanation at 6:59am by a scowling employee (apparently), then this is your place. It turns out they don't open until 7:00am, which it was straight up 7:00 when I got back into my car. I had stopped to buy some supplies on the way up the mountain, but not any more. Forget it.
