Went with another couple and their 18 year old daughter. Started with the marinated red wine mushrooms. All you could taste was the wine. Ordered 2 drinks. 11.50 each for a small glass of Coke with a jigger of Makers Mark. 4 salmon specials, 1 pork chop another round of two drinks and a slice of cheesecake and a slice of chocolate cake and a Coke which never got a refill (3.50). Total bill $299.88. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. For what we got it was wayyyyy overpriced! I wanted the lamb chops, but at 54 dollars for a small rack I can go to Foodsco and buy enough lamb for 3 people. Until the prices go down, we won't be back.

HP 2 rocks!! They are the safest restaurant in tge Valley. I go there weekly. Great mushroom vegan bread burgers with yummy condiments.

Lunch is prepared at Hitching Post 2 but served at Hitching Post Wines, which is on the other side of the parking lot.

The Hitching Post 2 restaurant is open for dinner only, daily. Mon-Fri. 4pm bar & appetizers, 5pm dinner Sat-Sun.3pm bar & appetizers and 4pm dinner. I think the menu has been the same since they opened.
Their only open for dinner 7 days a week. However now that the winery is open next door you can get lunch there and have some great wine.
