Caught my limit in about 40 minutes a few weeks ago. Nice little spot to fish early in the morning after they stock.

Best little water hole, lots of interesting history. It is called the millpond as a result of old lumber activity that was prominent in the Plumas county region gold rush era. It’s clean, Lots of “locals” love to fish on the shore were the kids walk barefoot on the rock. Wear water shoes because the pond is overfished at this point. I don’t swim in it anymore as a result, last time I did my son got a hook in his thumb. There’s the river right down the way and tons of lakes up gold lake road to fish out of. Millpond should be swim only.
