This place is pure magic. I cannot rave enough about this venue. My husband and I are in the Bay Area but we absolutely love spending time in the Sierra Nevada range. We wanted an outdoor venue in the mountains we love and we found TMH. It is more beautiful than pictures could possibly show. It has everything you could want from towering pines to a small beach next to a beautiful river (that you can definitely swim in). We loved that we could stay on site in the historic houses and that we could have the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, ceremony, dinner, and reception all in one place. The staff are amazing! Penie and Rachel took so much care and time to work with us and make sure that our day went above and beyond our dreams. It also took a huge weight off of our shoulders to have a list of included vendors and everyone we worked with was amazing. We brought in our own photographer and videographer but every other service we used. I cannot rave enough about Twenty Mile House.

From the moment I saw the pictures, I knew Twenty Mile House was where I wanted our forever to begin. Just like I knew my husband was The One, I knew Twenty Mile House was The One. They make the wedding process so simple and painless, and their team of vendors really can customize just about anything for your vision. Our coordinator, Penie, was outstanding! Her creative problem solving and quick responses alleviated all my worries. She went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality with the setup and décor, especially after some of our plans went haywire just weeks before the wedding. She saved the day in so many ways. On our wedding day, I heard from basically everyone that I was the most relaxed and stress-free bride they had ever seen – I owe that ALL to Penie and the TMH team! (My amazing husband gets a little credit, too.) Rachelle, the photographer, was so on top of it with the schedule and capturing the photos we wanted. Our guests raved about the food from Pangaea Catering (and the late night bites were a huge hit!). We had the buffet in the general store and I was particularly impressed when the friendly staff came out to the tables to offer seconds and bring food directly to our guests. That was such a classy touch and our guests really appreciated it. The dessert bar was devoured and a definite showpiece at the reception. The grounds are immaculate and the privacy of the location made everything so intimate. Our guests were in awe of the stunning natural beauty, and we heard from many of them that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We want to thank the entire team for creating this once-in-a-lifetime experience for us that we get to carry with us forever. There is something so magical about Twenty Mile House – it truly was a fairytale come true!

My brother recently got married there and we were all so impressed with this amazing venue and staff! The food was so good, DJ Ducky was epic and made the night feel so special to all of us, the bartenders were the best, the cabins were all so comfortable and cute, the photographer Rochelle couldn't have been any sweeter or better at her job, the train driving by and jumping in the Feather River... Just book your event here already! A huge shoutout to Penny the wedding planner/coordinator. She beyond perfect to work with, and being that I am in the wedding industry, I am sure she is underpaid. Thank you Twenty Mile House!!!!!

This is place is MAGICAL. We had less than 6 months to plan a wedding and it was the most perfect day we could ask for. Penie is an absolute all star and helped make the brutal process of planning a wedding a lot easier. We were able to customize a perfect menu that fit our style, and the same could be said about the flowers, ceremony and reception dining. The staff was beyond incredible and accommodating. If you are able to lock in a date, DO IT.
