The food was fine but with so few things on the menu I wish it had been excellent. The price was way above the quality. $50 the fish special, salad extra, $13 gin and tonic. I don't want to go lower than 3 stars because the food was fine and the service was fine, if they had included a salad or something with the meal I would probably have just shrugged at the price but none of it felt special.

We are an older couple. Today is our fifth-fourth wedding anniversary. I have a hearing disorder and have a service dog. We tried this restaurant before the pandemic and were treated very poorly. With a service dog, we needed a bit more room but were offered a horrible location and a tiny table for two—out of the way. When we vacationed here this time to celebrate our anniversary, we thought we would give them another chance. If the manager could have thrown us out, I am sure he would have. As soon as we entered, he told us we could ONLY SIT AT A BAR AREA—no table in the main dining room was available. There was plenty of room. . (Mind you, they opened at 5:00, no reservations were required, and we walked in at 5:02.). The bar area was six or seven chairs lined up next to each other, a few feet from the actual noisy bar, near the entrance. Another horrible location. Shunted off, away from the “normal” guests. This is their idea of meeting the minimum requirement to accept a service dog. But I know that I was clearly penalized for being physically challenged, despite the fact that we were nicely dressed and our Golden Retriever was well behaved. We left—-angry, insulted and so disappointed that our anniversary dinner was not to be. We have read reviews that spoke of their “attitude” being stinky. Well, we got it in spades. I hope you like the food because the staff—at least this manager—is really awful.

We were a little hesitant, thinking it might be a little too chic for us; but Vue has really friendly staff, from the hostess to the servers. Food, too is quite impressive. Among favorites are the Clam Chowder, Short Ribs, and Tiramisu Layer Cake. Now we have a new place to dine next time we visit Gualala. Definitely pay them a visit!

Had a beautiful and relaxing dinner at Vue. Definitely had the best table in the house with an unobstructed view of the Gualala Bluffs. The lovely bartender made us fresh picked, wild blackberry Italian sodas that were amazing. We kicked the experience off with a house made duck prosciutto and fig flatbread, that has onion jam, fresh mozzarella and a healthy bunch of baby arugula drizzled with honey. I had some fork tender, beef short ribs with a deep red wine flavor over garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the Cut of the Day which was an olive oil marinated rib eye, done perfectly medium, and it was so tender a butter knife sliced it like a well sharpened chef knife. Had no room for dessert, but they sounded amazing. Thanks for the great service Courtney 🙏

I found a menu at zmenu.com. Not much vegan: a stir fry and stuffed squash.
They definitely do, and reservations are strongly advised, or you may not get a table that night. Make reservations as far ahead as possible.
Everyday for dinner except Tuesday
