Still one of my favorite disc golf courses. I have played there since high school and it continues to be one of my favorite parks in Salt Lake.
Traveling Foodie
Massive park with lots of space to run and has a frisbee course as well as bathrooms and playgrounds. The dogs here are typically off leash. The water is on right now which is very good. The majority of this park has no shade so it does get hot over here.

Gorgeous surroundings! Wonderful pavilion! Beautiful creekside walk! There are open rest rooms, and a place for the little ones to play. The disc golf course is super cool and everyone I've met has been sweet and respectful. I love it Here!

It was a nice hot and sweaty day to get out for some disc golf with some legit humans. The park was surprisingly clean, well kept and the trees and bushes had been decently pruned. Also not crowded at all for a Saturday. Nice light breeze helped with the heat, but it was still pretty toasty outside!

Yes
I don't recall a pond at this park. As far as disc golf goes, there are clearly marked baskets throughout the area it is played. None in the walking area.
The disc golf basket layout is being altered to make transitions easier between holes. Also, there are no longer baskets on the other side of the creek due to some fires there and the land being graded and replanted. It is still fun and challenging to play this course.
As long as you pay attention to your 🐕 and bring your own pick-up bags, as they don't provide them. They do provide trash cans though. It is posted that dogs should remain on a leash, but it doesn't say you have to be holding it. 😋
Yes you can fish there and you don't have to just catch and release there are big Browns and rainbow trout in there as well
Big Cottonwood Creek.
