Had a craving for steak last night. I finally went there. The waitress was nice. I had the full $175 balance, still unused, on the (required) annual membership card. "Medium-well," I said to the other person, who had emerged from the kitchen. He brought the warm rolls and salad, and when he arrived with the meat, he just stood there and stared at me with a twinkle in his eye and said, " How does it look?" I was kind of tongue-tied, and answered, "Yeah, looks good." It was very, very well-done, but the fat around the edges was fairly small-sized, and the taste was very well seared, and tasted steak-like. I continued listening to music through my earbuds, and he stared at me again and again. I thought it odd that he kept trying to break through my veil of privacy by staring, then engaging in frivolity. Turns out I got diarrhea about an hour later. I'm pretty good at reading people. A word to the wise should...well, you know the rest...and I'll leave racial implications up to you, the reader.

Security does a little too good of a job. Even members get turned away sometimes. Automated gratuity up to 20% now even after the cost increases. Wish they Chippers staff would serve the pool area; always walking to the bar to get drinks.
