This was by far the best nursing staff I have met. My mother is under hospice care for advanced Alzheimer's disease, and the nursing staff clearly understood the disease and how to manage someone in that condition. In addition to this, they were very courteous and professional to me. The head nurse for day-time week days gave me her business card and said to call anytime if I had questions or concerns. The weekend and the night-time nurses called me on my cell and said the same thing. It left an impression on me that there was an excellent standard of services here. Staff were clearly trained and understood the dynamics of Alzheimer’s disease. I would recommend their services to any and everyone.

Thierry came to the hospital to meet with us, and graciously extended an invitation for me to visit the facility and make a decision. Although, we chose a different location based on proximity. This location was definitely at the top of my list based on the wonderful acts of kindness extended towards myself and my client. First impressions are very important and they are extremely blessed to have such a caring soul on board. As the point of contact for this location he is truly a gem. Thank you Thierry I will definitely recommend others who are in need of your services.

I get alone with the staff very good. I get to go to church on Sunday. I have made friends with some of the residents. My kids come and visit with me with no time limit.

Hi I work in the activity department and I been here almost a year. The residents are awesome, and the staff are very hard workers. I enjoy every bit of working here. I love to see my residents when they come to activity and when I do room visits. We have Happy Hour on Fridays and Movie Nights on Thursday. that is the best part. I plan Monthly Birthday Parties. Now I’m planning Nursing Home Week all week of Fun Fun Fun.

This depends on whether your doctor has privileges in the center where you are admitted. If he or she is not credentialed for your facility, then your case will be referred to another doctor who is on staff there.
Generally speaking, a skilled nursing facility is a clinical care provider of 24-hour licensed nursing. A SNF , as they are often referred to, is primarily engaged in providing services for residents who require medical or nursing care and/or therapy services for the rehabilitation of injured, disabled, or sick persons. Care typically includes: rehabilitation, intravenous therapy, post-surgical stabilization, pulmonary management, and wound care. Additionally, facilities provide assistance with administration of medications, and aid in a variety of daily living needs, including dressing, bathing, walking and eating.
Social services staff works with our residents and their families during times of transition. Our team provides information, addresses concerns and requests, and helps plan the discharge of each resident. Social Services can arrange professional services for any of the following: vision, dental, audiology (hearing), podiatry, psychosocial/psychiatric evaluation, creation of advance directives, dementia assessment, and individual therapy.
Physical, occupational, and speech therapies take place throughout the week. You will be evaluated after you arrive, then a personalized therapy plan will be created to best meet your needs. Wear tennis shoes and comfortable loose-fitting clothing.
Our activities and programs are created with residents in mind. We plan activities that suit the needs and capabilities of each resident. We find that this helps the healing process of our rehab patients. Activities include fitness programs, singing, trivia and games, religious meetings, musical performances and other entertainment. Families are encouraged to participate with residents. An activity calendar is provided so residents can stay informed on upcoming events like parties, movies, outings, ice cream socials, etc. As always, family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
Prepare an inventory list of items you re bringing with you. -Medical records -Copies of living will and power of attorney -Copy of Medicare/Medicaid or insurance card -Several days worth of comfortable clothes, sleepwear and toiletry items -Something from home that might bring you comfort like a favorite quilt, photos, reading material, etc.
