Wanted to give zero stars. Proceed with caution. My mom had a stroke. She was "suppose" to receive physical, occupational and speech therapy during her 14 day stay. Thank God my family n I visited every day. For 9 of those days the speech therapist was a no show. When I spoke to the supervisor I was told " the therapist was on vacation". Hadn't it not been for us visiting we wouldn't have known the services she needed most was not rendered. When someone goes on vacation, they put in a request in advance. A replacement, whether, agency staff or overtime should have been in place. That's a delay in care, unprofessionalism and poor management. The case manager told me she would speak to the physical therapist and they could do speech therapy with my mom. Go figure. It's like telling a mechanic to start an IV. Do your research 1st.
