I went here today and was so pleasantly surprised. Brought in some coins and jewelry and was impressed with the friendliness and honesty of the staff. I'd HIGHLY recommend Greenbrook Coins especially if you haven't had any experience with selling coins/jewelry like me. THANK YOU!!

Sold my silver quarters and dimes I've gathered while counting change over the years and got a honest fair price I would go back in the future as well as recommend this places to others!

Questions & Answers

Do you exchange British coins for US dollars?

Green Brook Coins | Jan 23, 2022

Yes, we do. Please be aware that the UK declared many older coins to be obsolete (not spendable) in 2017. The same is true of paper notes (non-plastic). We still buy the obsolete coins and notes but the exchange rate is lower.

I have a 1897 India head penny very nice condition? Is that worth anything??

Tough to say everyone has a different definition of "nice condition" now to clarify India head penny or Indian head penny? People don't give enough information nor do they make any effort to educate themselves.... Would it be too difficult to go into a shop and actually learn something or is it too hard?(Disclaimer. I am in no way shape or form a employee or have any association or affiliation with this company nor do I represent it's owner or their views or opinions) just a regular Joe that happens to like coins too.

I have two rare dimes 1945 and 1962 both of them are silver plated in very good condition how much are they worth

Monica Gordon | Sep 20, 2020
Nicholas Tsardoulias | Sep 20, 2020

Dimes aren't silver plated. They could be from a proof set but that seems very unlikely... Im gonna guess the 65 is not circulated and still has its luster...worth 10 cents. 1945 is silver 90% it's worth about $1.
