I recently bought 3 ceiling fans. One is very good; a Troposair Tuscan. It is quiet and moves a lot of air. I also bought 2 Dixie Belle Outdoor fans. They are VERY noisy. They sound like an airplane. I went back and voiced my concern. Stephen said he, in 16 yrs., never had a complaint about a Dixie Belle. He said because they are a high capacity fans they will make air noise. BUT we asked about noise in the store prior to purchase, and he said don't get a 3-blade fan because they are noisy. So we chose the Dixie Belle. He NEVER said they will make noise. NOW He said, " there is nothing I can do. He said run it on low speed." "I said it still makes a lot of noise." Oh well he said. I will NEVER give a good rating to Dan's Fans because of the way he steam rolled the conversation. Go to Lowes or Home Depot. They stand behind their products.

service after the sale HORRIBLE. Ordered fan and light kit to be insstalled. On the day of installation, installer shows and tells us no light kit. Not sure when it will be available. We call Dans and were told that is was backordered. several weeks later still NO WORD from Dans, we call to find out whats the deal, and was told on backorder still. I asked "why didnt you tell us that the light kit was not available on the day we BOUGHT and PAID for the fan and light? ((EVERY TIME you want to follow up with them, you have to all - they DID NOT keep us informed at ALL))-----the ONLY answer we got was call president biden and complain. this is NO WAY a professioanl approach to customer service. we ended up buying a different light kit, so we could have installed and be donw with these people. will not buy from them again. We will purchase our next 4 fans from elsewhere----

Purchased 2 identical fans three years ago and after a year we had continual issues with one of the fans. The folks at Dan’s ordered and replaced the defective fan. Now that’s great customer service. We have a covered lanai and it pays to purchase fans that can endure the Florida humidity. You may pay a bit more at this company as they specialize in quality fans but then you always get what you pay for. Highly recommend them as well as D.E.C. Electrical for installation. Thank you again !!!!!
