Love Dr Byrd! She is really good with our dogs. We love the new building. The exam rooms have large windows to see outside. Our dogs like to look out the windows. The large windows help make the rooms feel bigger and have a good effect on our dogs' anxiety.

Absolutely legal. I had one until the woman left ad
They were claiming the dog was injured according to the Fox8 report I read. That same report also specified that it was negated by the person who called animal control to pick up the dog. It's despicable & reprehensible that this even happened! Even if it was true that the dog was injured in some way, CLEARLY the dog wasn't DYING from his injuries, so he could have been given time for his owners to find him.....shameful that this facility didn't even allow the dog a few HOURS to live in hopes of returning to his family. There is 100% no reason for what they did. Unless they were looking to make some extra money selling the bodies. AND, if I were the owner, I would DEMAND to have the body returned to me. And I would never ever stop raising hell with the negative publicity about it. The more people made aware of this, the more likely things will change.
You go in and look at the animals. Find one that you think would be a good fit for you. Take them out and walk them around and get to know their personality. Then you fill out an adoption form and pay the fee. I dont know what it is for cats. I believe it was around $100 for a dog. The adoption form will ask for the name and number of your vet. If you have any other animals you will need to provide what vet gave them their rabies shots. And good luck. Adopting an animal is a wonderful thing to do!
If you are talking about Canadian Geese then you need to know that they are protected under the Migratory Bird Act. If you attempt to disturb them it is against the law. If you have domestic geese that you need to rehome then you need to contact Carolina Waterfowl Sanctuary.
I don't know any place
No
They do take small dogs. I don't think there is a fee
Yeah there are a bunch of cats and a few kittens
Call the Randolph ASPCA.
They have to be under parent supervision when they come to volunteer since they are umder the age of 18.
Just call the Randolph County animal control they are nice people
If they answer the phone. Call the police, it's stolen property. Good luck, hope you get your baby back

Take them to the Randolph County humane society.

While I agree with how wrong it was to euthanize the dog they found, your grievance is misplaced here and you should reach out to them directly. Google guide community are people who can give reviews and answer questions about ammenties of local businesses, locations, etc. NONE of us work for RC animal shelter, control, or any businesses reviewed on Google. No one here euthanized that dog.
Because they are sorry POS that kill animals
I'm sorry, I have no idea.
I would call them and see if they will come and remove them for you. 😉
Only for a short period of time. You cannot leave him there for hours
Leave it alone. Don't meddle with wildlife. This is this their birthing season so the mother foxes may be acting protective of young nearby. Don't bother them. Don't call animal control. Just let them be.
Randolph animal control will pick them up for you if you just call them. 💜
No. Thankfully there is a law against this. They cannot be kept indefinitely tied outside.
Call them.
They do take dogs in. They are killed if no one adopts them. Be responsible and find a home for them yourself.
Yes. If you can attempt to locate the owner though by catching the dog yourself and taking it to a vet for a microchip scan (it's free) this would be preferable.
They will take the kittens in but there is a chance that they will be put down. It is much better to vaccinate them and find them homes by advertising. Always charge a small adoption fee in order to make sure they find a responsible home. The shelter is often overwhelmed with animals and many do not make it out alive. If it was the result of an unspayed cat in your household then please have her spayed to prevent future litters.
