I was so happy to find the San Jose Learning Center. It is very difficult to find Cantonese language classes for adults who are learning. The teachers are native speakers, and I'm having a lot of fun learning in a class environment (have been learning with a 1:1 tutor for a year or so). I'm impressed at the wide range of language classes available, including other harder-to-find learning opportunities like Tagalog. I would highly recommend SJLC for anyone looking to learn a new language.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with SJLC thus far. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is eager to learn a new language and is looking for some proper guidance and instruction. The instructors, as well as your peers, are encouraging and actively involved, which fosters a good learning environment. I can't wait to take more classes with them in the future.

Wanted to get in touch with my culture and take Tagalog classes. Currently on Tagalog Level 3 and have been really enjoying the way my instructor Rhya has been teaching. She really cares about her students and has helped me significantly improve in my Tagalog skills. Going to keep taking classes here and would highly recommend it.

This is a long overdue review as my husband and I attended a Mandarin speaking class back in 2019, we were new to the San Jose area and decided it would be a fun couples activity. Indeed it was! We loved our time there, the instructor was great, the people were so nice, the building is beautiful, and the coursework was fun and effective. We have moved back to Phoenix since then but I was thinking about our time spent at the San Jose Learning Center and how much I wished there was a center such as this in the Phoenix area. Would recommend to anyone and everyone in the San Jose area. Thank you so much.

Are you asking if you have to pay for classes? If so, yes. It's not a community center. It's a for-profit corporation. I paid around $200 for the class i took.
