The food here is not as good as pinolandia down the street from it. However, it has a great indoor restaurant, good portions, and character that reminds you of a traditional Nicaraguan Fritanga.

It was a fun experience. This place is nuts. I’m not talking about the food, but the decorations: Crazy fun. I spent my visit being absorbed by all the stuff on display here. It’s very distracting, but in a good way. Pure maximalism. This is a Nicaraguan joint, so carne asada is what I wanted. The food was tasty, as expected. And the plate was HUGE. My plate was a combination of carne asada, sweet plantains, rice, salad fried cheese and a piece of avocado. I was not able to finish it, but it was good. The meat was a little dry but tender, good flavor. I liked it. A big letdown was the servers. Maybe I went there on a slow, day but the server was not very helpful. She was interested but lazy. She wasn’t letting me order what I wanted, and it was right there. This thing aside, I see why people get very fond of this place. I’ll try it again soon, to see if anything changes.

I've been to yambo twice and the truth is the food is bad. The roast beef has no flavor and the gallo pinto is almost bad. I'm from Nicaragua but I've had better food here in Miami. I do not recommend that restaurant sorry
