Great campground, friendly hosts and clean bathrooms. Our spot was a short walk to a nice, quiet beach. The gnats were intense at night though... could not turn on a light without being swarmed.

I would have given Grasshopper Flat 4 stars, but the bathrooms weren't cleaned on our 3rd/next-to-last day, and the women's side ran out of toilet paper! No one came by on our last day, either, when we left by 11:00. Unacceptable. But our site was a really nice one (#60), not far from the lake, and the sites had nice level asphalt pads. The water faucets were convenient and included buckets to help put out your camp fires. The lake was very pleasant too but too warm to catch any fish, this trip.

Had an amazing time and weekend. Racoons stole our food. Woops! Make sure to lock it all up. Bugs were intense at night. Bathrooms were clean but didnt have soap so pack some!
