Feb 2022 * Fishing is 0 at this lake, few other fishermen were out on ice fishing, not 1 bite, not worth time nor money to travel so far

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. You get a lot of space, the scenery is gorgeous, and every year we see deer, bears, and the fishing is plentiful.

The campground is in need of repair. We were on spot 28 and the asphalt on the door side of the trailer was all broken and the spot was not level. My Mom was with us and she has back problems and it was very hard for her to get in and out of the trailer and to also walk around in our spot due to it being sloped. Ours was not the only spot like that. We reserved this spot sight unseen and I was very disappointed. We found a piece of board we used to put down below the step that helped a little

A camp host told me to put all food and scented items in car and cover everything up with a blanket. The bears can recognize coolers, etc.

We were there July 11 to 15 and campfires were allowed. The campground is in dire need of major repair. We probably won't go there again.
