What a great venue! Great location. Clean. Well run. Great prices, great shows, great drinks. I bring the wife here from time to time, and we enjoy ourselves EVERY time. This place is a true gem for Rochester. If you haven't been there yet...you MUST check it out. You won't be disappointed.

The staff is Amazing here we had great drinks, food and laughs ! The comics that come to preform are some of the best in the business! We seen Jamie Kennedy and he was hilarious. We will definitely be back again.

(I suppose it depends on the venue & who your seeing)
They have "new comic nights" which are held quarterly, occasionally more frequent. Sign ups (when open) are through held online on their podcast website "Comedy at the Carlson cast" and then names are drawn on the show.
Yes, It is now open.
No
It varies widely depending on the show
I wore shorts a few times, that's not a problem, never tried flops though
No. I just paid for my tickets on line and we picked them up at the door. There were no minimum purchase notices
Yes you can get tickets at the door. Depending on the show, to be guaranteed tickets - order them ahead of time.
There are New Comic Nights when they have them. Check out Rochester Comedy page on Facebook and it will be announced. Follow the @Carlsoncast and check out the other open mics π€ in town
When you buy tickets online, they don't take Discover, only Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Maybe they do when you're there, but not online.
Absolutely π.... There's a lot of room in the main dining area, and a very relaxed atmosphere. There is also a small concert type stage venue in an adjacent room for an additional 50-75 people. Owner is really really accommodating, so just ask !!!
Depends on the show. Be aware, if you get there early, there is little difference between VIP and regular seating.
The Rickles room is another room at the Carlson where they hold shows. I believe it is smaller than the main room
Watch their calendar, they are great with keeping it current
The parking lot is across the street. There is handicapped parking there.
I believe the comedians pick and chose the options. VIP could be the only option, I would.check with the venue and performer
There is a lot directly across the street.
Social media
Very large room with several tables and chairs. The chairs are pretty comfortable, not "posh" but not uncomfortable. Enough space between tables to not feel crowded.
I have not attended an event there. Sorry, can't advise on this inquiry.
Yes
Walk in and inquir about a show or ask if you would be able to MC a show and see where it goes
Setup comics do 10-15 min, headliner 45 or more
Tickets are available for all shows through the website, or at the door. Prices vary but are reasonable.
