Best customer service ever plus fair prices on buying and selling my coins.

Just stopped by the best Coin and Bullion store in the state again. Kaydee helped me purchase a few old coins and took some time to talk to me about coin grading. Very helpful. Once again I am very pleased with the experience. Thank you Kaydee!!

My family had some items we needed to figure out what to do with and weren't really sure where to get started. Kaydee was extremely helpful and friendly while explaining the process and we were fortunate she knew exactly what needed to be done and it was stress free. Our family couldn't have been more fortunate to work with Kaydee and we look forward to the chance to work with her and Lincoln Coin & Bullion in the future.

In addition to bullion, we offer upon and purchase scrap gold (old/broken jewelry, dental gold) and scrap sterling silver (flatware sets, trays, serving dishes). We check hallmarks and x-ray items to determine/verify the precious metal content. A quick note, on sterling silver items, they will have 'sterling', 'ster.', or '.925' stamped on them. If they don't, or instead have 'silver', 'silver plate', or 'silver company' stamped on them, then they are not sterling silver. Anyone that makes sterling silver products (minimum silver content of 92.5% silver) will not forget to stamp 'sterling' on the item. Note, we typically do not purchase sterling jewelry, unless it is quite heavy. The silver value of rings and chains, compared to the processing effort, make them undesirable for us to purchase. Thanks!
It depends. For 20 minutes or less, there is no fee. If however you want us to spend more time, or to work thru a larger collection, then we do charge an hourly fee (currently is $105/hr). If you decide to sell a decent portion of the collection within 30 days, then we waive the hourly fee. Thanks for the question!
That is a great question! I think you will find that we quite often beat the online dealers, both on the buy and sell price. For a 'brick and mortar' business such as ours, lack of shipping time and cost is just one reason for this. We are also connected to the largest and best wholesalers/suppliers in the US. In addition, you have the advantage to come see what you are purchasing, use cash, check, or card for payment, and take the items home that day. Once we get to know you, you can call in purchase items, and stop in later to complete the transaction. We don't need to have your name in our database either. Thanks for the question!
We would decline to purchase a 'silver' tooth, crown, or filling. The silver value is too small compared to the work to remove the mercury. It would be best to take this to a dentist, as they are required to properly dispose of mercury containing amalgam (and it is quite expensive to do so), so would be best to ask first. Thanks!
The one you would be looking for is a double die, which means the die used to stamp the coin happened twice on the same coin. If you google images for this specific misstrike it will help you identify whether the coin you have has that feature. If it does not, then it is just worth its face value at this time. I've attached the following article talking about this specific coin: https://coinweek.com/coins/coin-profiles/us-coins-coin-profiles/united-states-1969-s-lincoln-memorial-cent/ Thank you! If they are proof silver eagles, with no toning, fingerprints, or blemishes, and come in the original box with Certificate of Authenticity, then currently we are purchasing them for around $58-60. If it is a regular (mint) strike, then we would offer $1-2 above spot price (about $24 each at the moment). Let us know if we can help with anything else, thanks! Pat
Thanks for the question. We follow the Lincoln/Lancaster Co. recommendations, including social distancing and mask recommendations. We have sanitizer for customer use, and are happy to provide masks if you forget one. We can accommodate any special requirements, including coming out to your vehicle, or mailing items. Feel free to call or email with any other questions, thanks!
The best way to schedule an appointment is to call (leave a detailed message if we don't answer). Feel free to email as well, but this may take several back and forth messages determine how much time is needed, and to determine a good time slot for you. Thanks!
I agree with John's answer (thanks John!). It could be a mint error, or it could have happened after the mint (which isn't valuable). We can take a look and tell you, the coin would need to be brought in. Thanks!
Statistically speaking, most coins found in pocket change or in a desk, are just spending money. Quick google searches turn up some very valuable coins, typically some of the best ones known to man. Searching eBay, and filtering to see only items that have sold, provides a much more realistic gauge of the value of a particular coin. Condition is very important, and what appears to be a 'nice' coin is one that has been circulated, and therefore really just a common coin. The most valuable coins have never been jingling around in someone's pocket, and have been sitting on a shelf their entire lives. Thanks!
The 1955-D wheat penny is a relatively common one. Even in an amazing condition it wouldn't be worth a whole lot. Now, that 1955 (Philadelphia, no mint mark) wheat penny that shows double die on the obverse can be worth quite a lot. A quick google search of images of this coin will let you know if you have the same coin. We can also take a look, or you can email pictures, thanks!
Hi, we buy condition Good or better common-date Lincoln Wheat Cents in bulk for 2.5 cents each. If you have better condition pennies, or harder to find years, we look up the going rate for them, and will happily pay more for them. Thanks!
On a coin like this, condition is everything. It is highly dependent on the condition. We can take a look at it if you like. Another option is to go on eBay, and filter to see only the 'sold' items, and find one similar to yours. That would give you a ball park idea. I say ballpark as there are multiple factors that may not be obvious when looking thru email. Call if you'd like to discuss further, thanks!
This depends on the silver price at the time, and overall market conditions. Best way to check on what we would pay for bullion would be to call or email us, thanks!

It depends. If what you have is of high enough purity (70 to 80%), and we can verify the overall purity, then we can purchase it. We don't refine the silver in-house, and instead send it off to get melted down. But we need to confident of the silver content. There cannot be foreign items detrimental metals mixed in either. Thanks!
