We would decline to purchase a 'silver' tooth, crown, or filling. The silver value is too small compared to the work to remove the mercury. It would be best to take this to a dentist, as they are required to properly dispose of mercury containing amalgam (and it is quite expensive to do so), so would be best to ask first. Thanks!
I have never asked them about this but on my first visit we discussed it a bit. They do little or no smelt work, only buying and selling coin and bullion gold silver and platinum. The mercury in amalgam means a lot of recyclers won't mess with it since toxic mercury requires special handling.
No such thing. Teeth were made of silver Amalgam. But you should give them a call
